COLBY RED – CALIFORNIA

Three Colby Red Wine bottles.

“This is a unique and generous red wine, just as Colby is a unique and generous child. I blend five different grape varieties to make a red blend that is juicy and velvety smooth, with rich fruit flavors and a soft finish.”

– Daryl Groom, Winemaker

Aromas of ripe red cherries, raspberries and star anise jump from the glass. The wine is generous on the palate with a rich mouthfeel complemented by well-integrated tannins and bold flavors of red berry and hints of clove spice. The finish is smooth with a slight toasty, vanillin character which lingers and is achieved from oak aging. Easy to drink and enjoy, this wine is a crowd pleaser.

Best shared simply with family and friends enjoying the warmth this wine brings in knowing it is helping families in need. We personally love this wine with homey comfort food like pizza, hamburgers, and pasta.
